Jewish Community Project Downtown
The mission of Jewish Community Project (JCP) is to create an evolving and growing community in which members have a strong sense of personal ownership, community connections and Jewish identity. We engage families of diverse Jewish and interfaith backgrounds with a warm, inviting environment and high-quality programming that excites people to explore their Jewish identities and connect with Jewish family and community life.

JCP is an open and organic Jewish community that enables individuals and families to become a creative force in the life of the organization, to explore their Jewish identity and connect to others through educational, cultural, social, and spiritual programs.

In addition, we seek to build collaborative partnerships among Jewish institutions in Lower Manhattan in order to maximize communal resources. JCP’s ultimate goal is to create a healthy and evolving community in which members have a strong sense of personal ownership, community connections and Jewish identity.
